The latest report from our women's team.

A brace from Chloe Tape, as well as strikes from Rosie Eden and Maisy Smith, saw the Cherries pick up all three points at Marsh Lane.

It was Tape who opened the scoring just seven minutes in, after turning her centre-back and finishing with her left foot beyond the ‘keeper.

The lead was doubled shortly after, as Eden found the target following Tape’s initial shot.

With no goals added before the break, it took just four minutes into the second half for Tape to add her second and the side’s third, Jade Hockey providing the assist before the 25-year-old finished one-on-one.

And the win was rounded off with a little over half-an-hour to go, this time Tape unselfishly squared for Smith, who finished first-time into the far corner.

Following the game, manager Steve Davies shared his thoughts with afcb.co.uk.

“It was a great response after last week,” he began.

“We were dominant from start to finish and everyone that played made a big contribution to the win.”

The Women are next in action on Sunday, with a trip to Winchester City Flyers Ladies in the league.
