FULL TIME

A defeat in the Midlands.

Despite a positive start, we were undone by a goal of our own making, before a late strike as we piled men forward cemented our defeat.

A tough one to take with Tyrone Mings substituted with an injury, but we have to look to Chelsea away on Wednesday night.

90'

Game over...

We get caught on the break from a long ball and substitute Ivan Cavaleiro steams in one on one.

He has 50-yards of space as everyone has piled forward and he dispatches into the corner.

That is that.

90'

GOAL for Wolves.

That's it.

90'

GOOD BLOCK!

A lovely clipped pass by Rico finds King in the area and the striker has a shot extremely well blocked!

Not looking like it's swinging for us...

90'

Four minutes of added time.....

GO ON!

87'

Steve Cook trying to make things happen...

He drives on from right-back beyond Fraser and gets the ball.

He skins his man and drills it across goal but no-one is there to capitalise.

Not long left... One more good attack lads!

85'

Five minutes to go...

Wolves are playing down the clock in the final five.

We're not forcing the issue and Begovic has just made a good save to deny Costa.

It's turning into one of those days...

80'

Final change for us...

As we enter the final ten.

Lys Mousset is on for Stanislas.

Go on Lys!

77'

Come on lads!

73'

Chance!!

Good play!

King finds Wilson in the area, and the striker swivels to shoot!

In the stands it looked such a good effort but it was blocked by a Wolves body to safety!

Better!

72'

Wolves starting to cling on a little bit...

We're dominating the ball as they look to break on us.

When we have it, they've packed men behind the ball to try and thwart us.

As a result, we're working it down the wide areas with Rico looking lively on the left side.

70'

Into the final 20 minutes...

Neither side looks at their best but we're slogging away working to try and get something out of the game.

Wilson coming on has made a difference, let's hope it can affect the scoreline here!

64'

Looking more lively since the formation change...

64'

OFF THE BAR!!!

So close!!

Stanislas was over a free-kick for a food while, at a slight angle on the edge of the box!

He stepped up, whipped it against the bar! Great strike, so close!

59'

Enter Callum Wilson!!!

He's back!

He comes on for Ibe, who in all fairness didn't have a bad game out of position.

So, it's a f;lat back four, Steve Cook at right back, Daniels centre back.

Wilson and King up top with Stanislas wide right and Fraser wide left.

Offensive!!

58'

What a miss!!

Costa has shanked one over.

He goes through one on one and he looks set to put it across Asmir Begovic into the net, but he shanks it well over at the near.

What a let off.

55'

Hunting for an equaliser...

54'

Not too far away...

Worth a go in these conditions!

Surman picks the ball up 25-yards out and drills a low effort just wide of the post!

Lovely technique to the strike, just wide.

50'

Five minutes into the second half...

It's taken the same script as the first.

Plenty of the ball, just no cutting edge yet.

Wolves have had a good effort from Ruben Neves blocked but that's it for chances.

45'

Back underway...

A big second half needed here!

Jota has gone off for them and has been replaced by Helder Costa.

Attacking towards the away fans in the corner now, lets go!!

HT

HALF TIME

Well, we're a goal down but we've been dominating the ball here.

Our best chance came after just four minutes when King went through one-on-one but his effort was saved.

A poor goal for us to concede then followed as a giveaway led to Jimenez tapping in.

In the freezing cold, we've got work to do to get back in the game.

44'

Penalty appeal for Wolves...

Jota got the ball in behind and it looked as though he would go clean through on goal.

Cook catches up with the winger and goes shoulder to shoulder with him, Jota hurls himself to the floor but the referee immediately gestures for no penalty.

There's not alot that Cook did wrong there, but if you're the home side you're aggrieved.

40'

Good opening!

Steve Cook plays a brilliant ball over the top for Fraser and he shruggs off Conor Coady and gets into the area!

He plays a cut back into King, who looks set to take a touch but he dummies it for Stanislas who just can't make it!

Better from us though!

38'

Lerma now booked...

His seventh booking of the campaign.

The ball was given away on the right-hand side and Lerma had to make the foul.

Lerma was fuming that the ball was given away in the first place.

35'

Mings is off...

He took a bump to the back and went down a few minutes ago.

He resumed but has gone down again and is now gingerly walking off.

Diego Rico is on, he'll play left-wing back and Daniels is at left-centre-back.

Sad to see Mings in discomfort again.

33'

First yellow of the game...

Steve Cook clatters Jota outside the area and is rightly carded.

It does look like Tyrone Mings is coming off now though...

30'

Half an hour gone...

We haven't created many clear cut chances, but we are the side asking the questions.

Besides the goal, (I know that's obviously a big thing!!!) we have done OK here.

Still plenty of time.

25'

Another marauding run from Mings...

He's beaten the midfield AGAIN and drives in a cross towards Fraser which is cleared.

It seems as though he's really keen to stretch the play and drive forward.

Hopefully it can lead to something soon for us!

22'

Decent opening...

For Junior Stanislas!

A prolonged, patient period of possession eventually sees Mings get beyond the midfield, drilling a great low ball into Stanislas.

He takes a touch and attempts to swivel and volley but it is comfortably over.

Good move, Stanislas' volley is a difficult one to execute.

20'

After the goal...

... Wolves have settled.

We're still enjoying more of the possession and are working it well, but Wolves don't look as nervy or as under pressure as they did before the goal.

The away fans are right behind the team though!

15'

King's earlier chance...

12'

Well, that's against the run of play...

Unfortunately, we give the ball away really, really cheaply.

Charlie Daniels rolls a pass into Jota, who drives into the area and it was a shot - which was going wide - but it fell kindly fell to Jimenez to tap in.

Our excellent start has been for nothing - a goal down.

10'

GOAL for Wolves.

They capitalise on a defensive error and Raul Jimenez diverts.

9'

A solid ten minutes...

7'

A really composed start here...

Besides a chance for Jota, we've controlled the game.

King's chance could've been converted, but we look full of confidence here with Surman and Jefferson Lerma getting plenty of touches.

Hope this doesn't curse it, but the first segment of the game has been really impressive for us - just lacking a goal!

3'

WHAT A CHANCE!!!

JOSHUA KING!

Andrew Surman clips a superb pass and it gets King in behind!

He has so much time to pick his spot on his favoured right, but he almost has too much time and tries to dink the 'keeper but it's well saved.

That's a glorious opening - keep it up!

2'

Chance for Wolves...

It was a really accomplished start by us, stroking the ball around and getting into the penalty area.

But Tyrone Mings just got the ball stuck under his feet, Diogo Jota nicked it and drilled a low cross in behind the defence but Jordon Ibe defended it well.

01'

We're underway...

Ryan Fraser gets underway - we'll attack away from our fans in the first half.

In our red and black stripes, let's go come on lads!!

14:57

The players are out...

And are greeted by fireworks!

In all fairness, Wolves have just put on an absolute class pre-match 'show' - but it's almost time to get down to business on the pitch where it matters.

Come on lads! Log in now to listen live from Molineux!

14:48

Just a note...

In the press box it is FREEEEEZING!

So apologies for the typos in advance!

If you haven't already, log in now to get your free audio commentary, hopefully you're at home in the warm listening in.

The players are waiting in the tunnel so we're moments away from kick-off...

14:43

Head to head...

Here's a stat for you.

The last three games between the two sides have finished 2-1 to us!

The last time we came here, Matt Ritchie scored late on in a fiesty game to say the least!

This is the first Premier League meeting between the two sides, but Wolves have gone five matches without a win against Bournemouth since beating them 3-1 in December 1989.

14:38

The manager has had his say...

The rightsholders interviewed Eddie before the game, they didn't ask him about the latest on Callum Wilson and Simon Francis, but he said: "We look forward to another game with a chance to get some points. Wolves are a good side who are well drilled and hard working, so it will be a tough game in difficult conditions.โ€

14:14

Wolves have enjoyed a good start to the season...

They've amassed six Premier League wins this season and that is already one more than they managed in the whole of 2011/12, their last top flight campaign.

Wolves have also shown they can go the distance of matches, having scored two 90th-minute winners this season, a joint league high with Manchester United.

14:12

One to watch...

Diogo Jota has scored in successive Premier League games, he hadn't scored in his first 13 appearances in the top flight.

Goals against Chelsea and Newcastle have seen the Portuguese wideman catch the eye, hopefully he won't catch the eye too much today!

14:02

Team in text....

So, Callum Wilson doesn't make the starting XI, neither does skipper Simon Francis.

We're waiting to hear from the manager on those two.

Jordon Ibe starts for the first time since Newcastle away.

Cherries XI: Begovic; Ibe, S Cook, Ake, Mings, Daniels; Surman, Lerma; Fraser, Stanislas, King.

13:42

Some great pre-match watching...

13:30

In form attackers...

Ten of our last 11 Premier League goals have either scored or set up by Callum Wilson or Ryan Fraser.

The pair have linked superbly well as highlighted by the win earlier in the month against Huddersfield.

Wilson is also enjoying his best ever top flight season, he's scored eight Premier League goals this campaign, equalling his career-best tally from last season.

Team news is in 30 minutes!
13:14

A little bit of trivia for you...

An early goal could be key in this fixture, probably more for us than Wolves.

Our last six Premier League goals have all been scored before half-time, but as for the hosts, they have failed to score a first-half goal in seven league games at Molineux

Hopefully there's a few goals in both the first and second half for us to celebrate today!

12:57

What can we expect from the hosts today?

Wolves are looking to secure their third consecutive top-flight win for the first time since March 1980.

Tim Spiers, the Wolves local reporter on the Wolverhampton Express & Star, gave us the lowdown on the Midlands side ahead of today.

"They had a run of one defeat in eight games at the start of the season which was fantastic, but then they went on a horrendous run of five defeats in six matches which dampened everybodyโ€™s expectations.

"In the past week though, thatโ€™s completely transformed again with wins over Chelsea and Newcastle.

"They've got lots of international quality and the top ten is the aim."

12:48

Team news...

Our team news pretty much centres around Callum Wilson.

Whether your a Cherries fan or Fantasy Premier League player, his name is on everyone's lips... will he or won't he?

The manager did hint that the striker would be in from the off, telling the press: "Callum Wilson has recovered well, so weโ€™re hopeful heโ€™ll be OK.

"You need your best players fit and available, physically heโ€™s been good as this is the first problem heโ€™s had.

"Weโ€™re going to be careful with the problem and wait and see."

Coy as ever, Eddie! Team news announced here first at 2pm.
