Thanks for following!

Not the ideal result but nothing to be ashamed of.

Thank you all for following these updates, and if you listened live across the world.

Your support is greatly appreciated. Onto the next game after the international break!

90'

FULL TIME

By no means a negative performance, just the result didn't swing for us today.

Two second half goals by Pedro and Eden Hazard are the difference, but we have had chances in both halves to get a deserved goal here at Stamford Bridge.

As the players head towards our travelling fans to thank them for their support. we'll start getting the reaction for afcb.co.uk and afcbTV.

90'

89: Just wide!!

A good move - Fraser gets it wide left, cuts inside and curls a beautiful effort which is narrowly past the post!

The referee is indicating it took a nick on the way through, really unlucky from Weeman!

60'

87: Our final change...

Lerma makes way for Lewis Cook.

A solid debut for the Colombian in the middle of the park.

60'

86: Hazard makes it two...

Alonso played a cute ball to the Belgian who got into the area past his man, and buried it with his left foot.

The game is probably out of our reach now, despite a spirited performance.

60'

GOAL for Chelsea.

That's it.

Maybe a but cruel on us, but Hazard scores.

60'

82: Chance for Chelsea...

Really good one for Pedro.

Substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek drills it to Pedro who is in space in the area on the right, he drills it low but can't find the corner, instead Begovic gets low to save!

60'

79: Double sub for us...

Lys Mousset and Jordon Ibe are on for King and Smith.

Looks like a 4-4-2 again now, with Lewis Cook waiting to come on as well...

60'

76: Great chance!!

A great ball by Gosling releases Fraser in behind - he's at a slight angle but he steams into the area!

He shapes his body to side-foot it into the bottom right corner but shanks it wide!

Really good opening for us that! Still time for us in this game!

60'

Into the final 15...

60'

72: Pedro scores...

They've probably looked the more likely this half.

A combination with Giroud gives Pedro an opening on the edge of the box, he dummies well and precisely finds the bottom corner.

Unfortunate for us but still plenty of time!

60'

GOAL for Chelsea.

Pedro scores.

60'

70: Lerma's first Premier League yellow card...

He takes one for the team as he brings down Hazard who had started on one of his trademark runs.

Welcome to the Premier League!

60'

68: Narrowly wide...

Giroud latches onto a loose ball and he hits one, more of a miss hit, but it comes off one of his own men and flashes wide.

We're defending well here though (curse of the commentator!)

60'

64: Another sub for Chelsea...

This time it's Pedro who comes on.

Chelsea want to turn the screw but they haven't created anything clear cut since Alonso's chance which forced a save by Begovic.

Pedro comes on for Willian.

60'

60: Sub for Chelsea...

Morata makes way for Olivier Giroud.

Morata has been kept quiet so Chelsea will be hoping Giroud can change it for them offensively.

Obviously we hope it stays the same!

60'

It's become a really good battle!

46'

57: SO CLOSE!!!!

We are so close to going ahead!

Rico puts in a brilliant corner - his crossing has been excellent today - it reaches Ake four yards out and it just can't be diverted in!

That is so close, it's fizzed in with power by Rico, just needed a firm touch!

Unlucky!

46'

54: Save!

Chelsea are well on top and we're very deep trying to combat them.

Hazard gets down the left and skins Gosling - he cuts it back to the waiting Alonso who blasts one with his side-foot which is going in, but for Begovic's palm!

Really good save and we clear.

46'

50: A quiet start to the half...

It's similar to the first half, we're looking to spring counters on Chelsea as they enjoy more of the ball.

No chances of any note yet, but Chelsea look the more likely as we sit and work for the counter.

46'

46: Back underway...

Fraser gets the ball rolling.

No changes for either side at half time, we're attacking the Shed End, towards our fans in this half.

We've had some success at that end in recent years... come on lads!

46'

HALF TIME

We've defended really well, had two portion of luck at our end but have created chances of our own.

A lively half, Wilson had our best chance after a lovely ball from Rico, but he couldn't quite convert.Hopefully more of the same from us as the crowd gets on top of Chelsea in the second-half.

46'

45: Chelsea hit the post...

Close...

Alonso threatens again.

He hammers a right-footed strike from the edge, it takes a nick and completely diverts the ball into the other direction.

Begovic is beaten but it cannons off the post and we get it away.

A very close shave at the end of the half here.

14'

Thinking of a way to make this good spell count...

14'

35: Just wide from Kovacic...

The Croatian drives from deep and launches an effort from 25-yards.

It takes a nick and there's bodies flying in to protect our goal - which means it bounces narrowly wide.

Good defending!

14'

33: Alonso booked...

Great play Adam Smith!

As ever, he ghosts inside and Alonso can only pull him back.

Another sweeping move though, full of confidence on the ball here., our fans also in great voice.

Keep it steady boys!

14'

Defending stoutly so far...

14'

30: Great chance!!!

Callum Wilson does so well to hold off Luiz and get us going on the break.

It's worked out wide to Diego Rico, who puts in a superb cross!

Wilson is there in space and it looks a goal but it hits Wilson's knee and goes out!

Unlucky - really good opening for us!

14'

23: Close...

Chelsea on top.

We almost go a goal down... Alonso smashes a cross in low,  Nathan Ake tries to clear and then fortunately for us, it cannons off Begovic to safety.

A stroke of fortune, we're still level.

14'

21: Blocked by the wall!

Thankfully!

That free-kick looked in a really dangerous area, but Marcos Alonso's effort is well seen away.

14'

20: Gosling booked...

Eden Hazard shrugs off two challenges from deep and drives towards our penalty area.

It's his trademark best, and Gosling takes a yellow card for the team by pushing the Belgian.

Free-kick in a dangerous area here, 20-yards out...

14'

Not a bad opening 20 for us...

14'

16: Gosling smacks one!

It's so close!!

We get a throw in and it's pumped into the area, it bounces kindly to Dan Gosling outside the area and he crashes it onto his left, it is narrowly over!

Really good effort that! Unlucky!

14'

15: Chance!!

We steal the ball really high and Joshua King drives at the defence!

It's 2v2 and King shows great speed and power, and his pass to Fraser, who is clean through, is just overhit!

Really good opportunity for us!

15:10

Both teams just feeling each other out early on...

15:07

07: Save by Begovic!

A short corner by Willian falls to the Brazilian at a very tight angle, but he leathers it towards goal and Asmir Begovic gets a strong hand to tip it away - smart stop!

He took a whack palming it away and play has stopped. He does look OK though.

15:03

02: Unlucky!

Our first forray!

Fraser gets down the right at lightening pace and puts in a brilliant ball.

It's low, but it's JUST an inch away from the waiting Callum Wilson!

A really good break and desperately unlucky early on!

15:02

02: Early sniff for Morata...

A long ball over the top from Antonio Rudiger looks to get Alvaro Morata in behind - it's a good pass and good run but it's well scouted by Simo nFrancis who intercepts.

Good defending!

15:00

01: Let's go lads!

Mateo Kovacic gets us underway and it's on!

We'll attack away from the Shed End in this first half - come on lads!

One to watch...

It's a pretty obvious one, but more for the statistics surrounding him, Eden Hazard is the attacking force we'll have to keep an eye on.

He's scored in each of Chelsea's four Premier League wins against us - bagging five goals in total.

However, the Belgian maestro has only scored in two of his last 17 home league appearances.

Interesting!

14:00

BIG team news!

Jefferson Lerma and Diego Rico both start for the Cherries for the first ever time in the Premier League!

They come into the team and there's a change of shape too, five at the back with Simon Francis returning to the starting line up.

IThe team...

Begovic; A Smith, Francis (C), S Cook, Ake, Rico; Lerma, Gosling; King, Fraser; Wilson.

13:37

Head to head record...

Chelsea have won nine of the last 12 meetings with us, including five of the last six in the Premier League - so that doesn't make too good reading!

However, the team playing away has won in five of the six previous Premier League fixtures. We'll go for that as a good omen instead!

13:27

Another Premier League record could tumble for us today...

We've never won three or more consecutive Premier League games away from home before.

But today, we could achieve that for the first time - it's a big ask but having lost only once at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League could mean a lot heading into this one.

13:17

What can we expect from Chelsea today?

Under Maurizio Sarri they now play a back four, something which ESPN's Chelsea correspondent Liam Twomey said could be a weakness for the Blues today.

"They are a completely different team to what Bournemouth faced last year.

"They’re still adjusting to playing a back four, Marcos Alonso is going forward but is having to play as a defensive full-back at times as a result and David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger are still developing their central partnership."

Interesting stuff for sure!

12:48

A big stat today!

We could remain unbeaten in our opening four league matches for the first time since 1998 - when we were in the third tier.

That would be some achievement today - particularly at Stamford Bridge!

12:45

Team news...

We'll announce it here first straight from the Stamford Bridge dressing room.

The manager was really coy on whether Diego Rico and Jefferson Lerma will start, with both new signings available together for a Premier League game for the first time.

There were a few knocks as well that the manager refused to tell the press about, so it could be an interesting line up come 2pm!

12:42

Welcome...

A great day for it!

It's blazing hot here at Stamford Bridge as we have made the trip to Chelsea this afternoon.
