FULL TIME

Our late efforts were in vein.

Arsenal have defeated us here narrowly at Vitality Stadium - they were on top for long periods in all fairness but it's a defeat for us.

Joshua King scored to equalise an unfortunate own goal from Jefferson Lerma, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stuck in the second half to hand them the win.

A big thanks to George in the press box for assisting us today as part of the Junior Cherries takeover, but it's an unfortunate defeat.

We'll see you next Saturday for our trip to Manchester City. Thank you very much for following this afternoon! We appreciate it!

90'

FOUR minutes left...

Added time.

It's met by a roar from the crowd - come on lads!

88'

Save!!!

Almost an own goal from Sokratis!

A great corner is glanced on by Daniels and it comes off the Greek - Leno tipped the ball over superbly to prevent the equaliser!

Close for us!

Hopefully there's one more chance for us in this one...

84'

OFF THE POST!!!

Would've been INCREDIBLE!

Lerma gets the ball 30-yards out and he smashes an effort low and against the inside of the post!

So unlucky!! That is a whisker away!

82'

Final change...

A good opportunity for Lys Mousset!

He replaces our goalscorer King - hopefully the Frenchman can conjure up some magic!

80'

Ten minutes to go...

George alongside me has said: "Arsenal have been better than us so far this half, but we've started to look a bit more likely to get a goal in the last five minutes.

"We have to make our chances count."

80'

Good chance!!

Close!

Daniels slaps in a cross and Stanislas is there to meet it with a fabulous touch - Mustafi chucks himself at the winger so he has to improvise - Stanislas pokes the ball through his legs but it JUST isn't powerful enough and Leno saves!

A decent opening for us!

77'

Arsenal on top...

They're trying to play down the clock with some possession play but at the same time, they are switching it up when the opportunity is on.

They're trying to get the ball over the top for their speedy frontmen too when they're under any pressure and it's putting us on the back foot.

Still time for us though!

72'

Double sub for us...

David Brooks makes way for Junior Stanislas and Lewis Cook will be replace Dan Gosling.

A rousing reception for all four players, hopefully this can give us the spark we need to get an equaliser!

69'

Should be 3-1...

Moments later, Mkhitaryan could have made it three.

Arsenal broke on us with pace and the Armenian got to the back post and looked set to slam in as he had plenty of room.

But somehow he lashed it wide of the mark. A bit of a let off for us there, Arsenal are on top as it stands.

69'

A tap in...

So Kolasniac got half a yard down the left and drilled in a great ball for Aubameyang to prod in from close range.

George says: "Aubameyang hasn't really done much but he came out of nowhere to score.

"That's what the top players can do to you."

69'

GOAL for Arsenal.

Aubameyang scores.

Besides our chance through Brooks, it probably has been coming.

66'

Chance!

King does well!

He holds it up so well in the corner, his strength has been a real part of our attacking play so far.

He holds it, beats his man in the corner, lays off Brooks who from a tight angle, drills a low one which is saved by Leno!

A decent opening, it's off a counter attack which looks our most likely route at the moment.

65'

We're defending well...

It's a bit like the Man United game really, we're deep but have Arsenal at arm's length.

"We're defending well again," George says.

"We haven't had many chances in Arsenal's half for a while, we're sitting quite deep and we're not playing attacking football at the moment."

We're digging in at the moment as George says, still well in it though!

53'

Good chance!!!

A swift counter attack!!

King and Brooks combine superbly on the left and it flies over to the right side where Fraser is waiting.

"Brooks' flick was brilliant and King did well despite getting a push in the back," George explains.

Daniels has made a lung-busting run to the back post, the cross finds him and he's in space but just can't get a firm touch on the ball and it whizzes wide!

Close that!

52'

Ake booked...

 A little harsh!

He nicked the ball away from Mkhitaryan but the referee instantly brandishes a yellow card.

That's his first yellow of the entire season - shows his class!

49'

HUGE PENALTY APPEAL!

Not given on Fraser!

He seems to be barged by Kolasinac in the area, the fans are furious but the referee is unmoved.

Looked suspect!

47'

MEGS!

Brooks shows some sensational skill by popping the ball through Mustafi's legs!

"It was really clean, straight through, really good skill from Brooks," says George up here with us.

Top stuff!

46'

Back underway...

Hopefully a good half for us!

We're kicking towards the Vitality Steve Fletcher Main Stand this half - come on!

45'

HALF TIME

"After a good start we let them back into the game and Arsenal took the lead.

"But we've ended the half well with a really good goal and hopefully we start the second-half how we ended the first."

Well said George!

Half time here and Joshua King had got us level after Jefferson Lerma's unfortunate own goal...

A good half of football here!

45'

GREAT COUNTER ATTACK!!

Out of nothing, we are level!

It's a brilliant counter attack and Fraser drills the ball to Wilson.

He's out wide but he passes it brilliantly to Brooks in the middle of the pitch who then looks up and finds King in plenty of room.

King then gets it onto his left foot and finishes right into the top corner!

A great finish and we're all square into added time of the first half!!!

45'

GOALLLLLLLLLL!!

GREAT FINISH FROM KING!!!!!

41'

We're not out of this...

38'

Another decent chance...

Bellerin goes steaming down the right flank and he drills in a really dangerous cross.

It looks inviting for Aubameyang but Francis does extremely well to get across and clear.

You feel Arsenal are on top and our best chance is on the counter at the moment.

33'

Good save by Begovic!

A terrific stop.

Alex Iwobi is picking up some brilliant (unfortunately for us) positions in behind our midfield and he's able to turn and drive at the heart of our defence with his pace.

He curls a right-footed effort from 20-yards, it looks like it's going into the corner but Begovic gets a big hand onto it to tip it away.

30'

A cruel goal...

Kolasinac got down the left hand side and drilled in a low left-footed cross.

It's a difficult one to deal with but Lerma gets a touch and it flies past Begovic.

George here says "it's really unlucky" and we agree, he has to get something on it to stop it reaching anyone.

Either way, we are behind.

29'

GOAL for Arsenal.

It's unfortunately a Lerma own goal.

25'

Sokratis booked...

He's all over King!

It's a great run from the forward who drove down the channel towards the penalty area and Sokratis HAD to bring him down - although it was tough as King is so strong!

It was a dangerous moment for the Greek defender, his sixth yellow card of the season.

22'

Really good chance for Aubameyang...

He should do better.

A high corner reached the Gabonese forward at the back post, he chested it down but blazed it well over.

He was only six-yards out too... We started off well but Arsenal have grown into the game and are on top at the moment.

We need to be on our guard here...

20'

Decent chance for Arsenal...

They're incisive when they get the ball!

Sead Kolasinac got free on the left behind our backline and drilled a ball across the goal, and it was hacked away by Daniels.

A really threatening opening for the Gunners, and George said it was "a great clearance, because he put it into a great area to safety rather than give Arsenal the ball back."

19'

Battling hard so far...

16'

A great opening!

A brilliant one-two between Brooks and Daniels on the left gets the full back in behind in plenty of room!!

Daniels drills in a brilliant low cross which Sokratis has to defend excellently to stop it getting to Wilson!

Well worked, a flowing move and ALMOST a big chance at the end of it.

The fans are well up for this!

15'

So, how are we getting on?

George is pleased with Steve Cook's performance...

"We're doing well, Steve Cook has been really solid so far at the back.

"He's been great, Ryan Fraser is also lively on the left, skinning Bellerin when he gets it.

"Joshua King is working well and latching onto some good passes from the midfielders."

Some solid analysis there from our Junior Cherries correspondent!

08'

Off the post...

We're quite lucky there!

Lucas Torreira steamed forward for Arsenal and unleashed a drive from 25-yards and it's an excellent strike which rattles the inside of the post and is away to safety!

Straight after out disallowed goal too, end to end stuff!

07'

GOAL RULED OUT!!!

A TIGHT ONE!

David Brooks is a FRACTION offside!! It's such a tight call, but Brooks got into the area and finished well... but it is correctly ruled out.

Again a great start from us!

06'

George's take so far...

George is impressed so far...

"We've been all over them, Arsenal have had no chances so far. We're playing some great balls down the wings, the strikers are latching onto them and running the channels really well."

03'

A good chance for us...

Joshua King made a great run down the channel and is picked out by a superb pass.

King got completely free down the right and had plenty of room to drill in a cross, but it just couldn't meet a Cherries head in the middle!

Unlucky, a good start for us!

01'

We are underway...

Dan Gosling gets us going - a big one!

Click LISTEN LIVE to listen to live audio.

George in the press box thinks it's going to be 2-1 to us, let's hope he is right!

13:28

The players wait in the tunnel...

A good atmosphere building in the ground!

We've got George working with us as part of the Junior Cherries takeover - he'll be giving some expert opinions alongside us today!

13:13

A piece of magic of our own...

Ozil might be impressing right in front of us in the warm up, but Joshua King has just bagged a class goal!

Are we overhyping the warm ups? Well, if King scores a goal like that today, it'll be everywhere!

A left-footed drive from distance off the bar and in - hopefully more of the same when it matters!

13:10

Mesut Ozil...

He might be on the bench, but he's still entertaining us!

In the warm up, him and the other Arsenal substitutes are passing the ball around in a rondo, and some of his tricks and flicks are absolute genius.

Say what you want about him, he's an unbelievable talent!

13:08

Head to head...

We've only ever beaten Arsenal once in our history, that was our win last season with Callum Wilson and Jordon Ibe scoring.

But if you're expecting goals today, you'll probably be right!

Arsenal have never failed to score in a match against the us, scoring 17 goals in total.

There have been 23 goals in contests between these sides - 3.3 per game on average - so a both teams to score might not be a bad bet!! (Gamble responsibly guys!)

12:50

One to watch...

Obviously everyone is talking about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang has one stat that we should be worried about, he's bagged 13 of his 17 Arsenal goals in Sunday fixtures.

Hopefully it goes to 13 in 18! But there's no doubting the Gabon forward's class and his pace is something that the Cherries defence will be very wary of.

12:47

The manager is pleased...

... about Kingy's return!

The manager feels it's a real boost that the Norwegian is back for us and told Sky Sports...

“Having Josh King back is a huge boost as he gives us a different dimension in attack. We are keen to make a really quick start today and get back to a positive performance and result.”

12:31

The team is in!

Joshua King is back from the start!

That's great news for us - Dan Gosling is also back in the starting XI with Lewis Cook on the bench.

Cherries XI: Begovic; Francis, S Cook, Ake, Daniels; Brooks, Gosling, Lerma, Fraser; King, Wilson.

12:08

30 minutes 'til team news...

Joshua King is in contention to return, he's trained with the group this week.

That's the good news, the bad news is that Adam Smith is out for roughly three months.

As for Arsenal, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang are expected to play after picking up knocks over the international break.

Stephan Lichtsteiner's hamstring problem leaves him as a doubt, while Laurent Koscielny and Danny Welbeck remain out in the long term.

Full team news at 12.30pm.

11:44

Steve Cook wants a big display...

As part of Premier League regulations, the manager and a player have to speak to the host broadcaster before the game.

Steve Cook is that player today and this is what he had to say...

"Losing two on the bounce has been difficult so today is about getting back to winning ways. If we perform to our best standards we’ve got a chance but Arsenal are a top team so it won’t be easy."

11:06

Could substitutes have a big impact today?

We all know that the big squads will all play a part in a team's season.

But Arsenal's have had a bigger impact than most this campaign.

Seven goals have been scored by substitutes for the Gunners, that's a league high!

10:44

Did you know?

An interesting stat this one!

Arsenal and Cardiff City are the only club not to have led at half-time in the Premier League this season.

Nine of their 12 games so far have been tied at the break.

That's one for your mates at the pub!

10:27

Deadly duos...

Arsenal may have Aubameyang and Lacazette, but Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson are our duo to look out for for two big reasons!

Fraser has six assists in the Premier League this season, no other player has more, which means that he has as many setups in one season as any other Cherries player in Premier League history!

Wilson is of course on cloud nine after his England goal in the international break, and he has good form against Arsenal.

In his last three appearances against them, he's scored...

Something good for the pair to continue!

10:09

As for Arsenal...

The Gunners arrive to Vitality Stadium on the back of a huge 16 game unbeaten run.

Unai Emery's side have drawn four of their last five games, including each of their last three - almost losing to Wolves last weekend.

The Gunners have however, scored two or more goals in each of their most recent five away league fixtures.

But their front pair of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette almost seem to guarantee goals, the pair have been involved in 15 between them this campaign so far.

09:55

Our form heading into this one...

Despite the defeat to Newcastle, it's still very good and the squad remains confident.

The last two defeats (Man United and Newcastle) are as many defeats as we've suffered in our last 12.

We have also won five and lost just twice in our past ten home games, both of those defeats were to Man United.

So having scored 11 goals in our last six games - game on!

09:42

Welcome...

It's another big Premier League game at Vitality Stadium.

Arsenal are the visitors to the south coast and we're expecting a raucous atmosphere here!

Kris and Willo will be on live commentary duty (which is - as every week - completely free!) and we'll also be updating you here on these live text updates.
