An AFC Bournemouth fan for 25 years, Dawn began working with the club in April 2014 as head of education and welfare.

Previously a lecturer/tutor manager at Brockenhurst College, Dawn taught a number of Cherries youngsters during her time in that role, including the likes of Danny Ings, Josh McQuoid, Brett Pitman and Sam Vokes over the years.

She has numerous roles under her umbrella within the academy, including day release, player care, safeguarding, trialists and accommodation to name a few.

She works closely with the apprentices on a day-to-day basis as well as overseeing the education and welfare of all academy players from under-9s to under-16s.

Dawn also helps to deliver an NVQ as part of the apprentices’ qualifications.
