Striker Dominic Solanke made 32 appearances in the Premier League in 2019/20, his first full season with AFC Bournemouth.
Solanke scored his first goal for the club in a 4-0 victory against Luton Town in the third round of the FA Cup in January 2020.
He netted three times in the Premier League towards the end of the 2019/20 campaign, scoring twice in a 4-1 win over Leicester and once against Everton in a 3-1 victory.
Solanke started the 2020/21 Championship campaign in good form, scoring in 1-1 draws against Middlesbrough and Cardiff and also chipping in with three assists in the first 11 games.
He ended the campaign with 15 goals and 11 assists from 40 league games and carried his goalscoring touch into the 2021/22 season.
Solanke had a remarkable season in-front of goal, scoring 29 times from 46 matches, an ever present in Scott Parker's team.
His goals, and seven assists, helped the Cherries to the Premier League in May 2022, securing automatic promotion following the win over Nottingham Forest at Vitality Stadium.
With seven goals and seven assists in 2022/23, Solanke had established himself as one of the leading all-round forwards in the country.
The frontman became AFC Bournemouth’s first signing of the January 2019 transfer window when he joined from Liverpool.
He made his Premier League debut for the club in a 2-0 defeat at Cardiff in February 2019 and made 10 appearances in the top flight in 2018/19.
Solanke enjoyed a productive 2018/19 on the international stage, scoring six times in five games for England under-21s.
Born in Reading and schooled in Basingstoke, Solanke joined Chelsea as a schoolboy in 2004 and enjoyed a fruitful career in the youth ranks at Stamford Bridge, including winning the FA Youth Cup in 2014 and 2015.
He helped England win the 2014 European Under-17 Championship, scoring in the final against the Netherlands. Solanke was named as the Young Lions’ youth player of the year for 2014.
Rewarded with his first professional contract by Jose Mourinho in September 2014, Solanke was named in the Chelsea matchday squad for the first time in the Premier League just a month after his 17th birthday and was an unused substitute in their 2-1 win at Crystal Palace.
In October 2014, Solanke became Chelsea’s youngest player to debut in the Champions League when he came off the bench in a 6-0 victory over NK Maribor.
Solanke was the leading marksman in the UEFA Youth League in 2014-15, his 12 goals helping the Blues to victory in the competition. He scored once in the final against Shakhtar Donetsk. He was also named academy player of the year at Stamford Bridge in 2015.
Solanke hit seven goals in 25 games during a season-long loan with Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie in 2015-16.
He was awarded the Golden Ball (player of the tournament) as England – skippered by AFC Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook – won the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in June 2017.
Solanke scored four times in the tournament, including the only goal in the quarter-final victory against Mexico and twice in the semi-final triumph over Italy. He started the final against Venezuela.
Following the expiry of his contract with Chelsea, he moved to Liverpool in July 2017 and made 27 appearances during his first season at Anfield, including 21 in the Premier League.
Having represented England at all age group levels, Solanke won his first full cap when he came off the bench as a 75th-minute substitute in a 0-0 draw against Brazil at Wembley in November 2017.
He scored his first Premier League goal in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Brighton on the final day of the 2017/18 campaign.
