AFC Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth’s Under-18s squad recently joined forces with staff at the Crumbs Project for a special charity bake-off.
The Crumbs Project are the club’s chosen staff charity partners for the 2018/19 season.
As a catering training organisation, they provide a safe environment for adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, stabilised drug and alcohol addictions, head and brain injuries, all serving the local community.
The under-18s squad partnered up with staff at the Crumbs Project, with each team raising fund through a centralised JustGiving page ahead of the event.
After baking and a lunch break, completed cakes were judged by staff from the academy, as well as sponsors Strategic Solutions.
Dennis from Crumbs’ team of Ryan Glover and Tom Hanfrey stole the show with a delicious carrot cake.
