FA Youth Cup: Date set for sixth round

AFC Bournemouth will host Manchester City in the sixth round of the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday 26th February (7pm kick-off).

The Cherries booked their place in the quarter-final after triumphing 2-0 against Aston Villa in the fifth round earlier this month.

Manchester City, two-time winners and seven-time runners-up, set up a trip to Vitality Stadium after registering a 2-1 victory at Derby.

The Cherries last reached the sixth round in 1969, exiting the competition at the hands of eventual winners Sunderland in the semi-final.

Ticket information will be released in due course.

Revised sixth-round draw (ties to be played by 2 March):

  • Leicester City v Watford
  • West Bromwich Albion v Everton
  • AFC Bournemouth v Manchester City
  • Bury v Liverpool.
