AFC Bournemouth midfielder Andrew Surman's main function of the team isn't to score goals.
In fact, Surman hadn't scored for the club since February 2015.
But the midfielder hailed his strike as one of the biggest goals of his long career so far.
ON THE STRIKE...
It was a massive goal.
It's probably one of, if not the biggest goals of my career.
The goal came at a time when we really needed it, we really needed something.
I was on the end of it and I didn't want it to go on my right foot to be honest! I waited for the defender to commit himself and thankfully I managed to sidestep him and pick my spot.
ON JORDON IBE'S IMPACT...
Maybe it was what we were missing in the first half when things weren't quite coming off.
Jord is a great player, he does it every day in training, and he produced. He had a massive impact, we know how good he is and he certaily showed it.
He made a massive impact.
ON JERMAIN'S GOAL...
As soon as it was slid down the side I knew it was in. He's the best finisher I've seen, that's the reason we've brought him in, he gets a chance and he will score. He's a big signing for us.
ON THE BIGGER PICTURE...
The pressure starts to build, it's been a tough month and difficult at times with the performance not being there.
It was a tough game, they kept everyone behind the ball and you could feel the frustration around the place.
We kept it moving, digging in as well at times and everyone is delighted with the result.
