Voting for the AFC Bournemouth Michael Matthews Player of the Month for December is now open.
During what was a challenging month the Cherries played a total of eight games, winning two and losing six.
Important Premier League home victories against Huddersfield Town and Brighton & Hove Albion were the notable standout moments.
David Brooks, who scored both goals during the win over Brighton, is the first nominee for the award. He featured in seven of the Cherries’ eight games throughout the month.
The central midfield pairing for much of the month - Jefferson Lerma and Andrew Surman - are both also nominated for the award.
The final candidate for the month gong is defender Steve Cook, who featured in every minute of action throughout the club’s eight games in December.
Voting for the award is now open, with supporters able to have their say via the club’s official Twitter account, @afcbournemouth.
The winner of the award will be announced ahead of the club’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Brighton & Hove Albion.
