AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

The latest round up from double gameweek 35.

Robert Ziganshin leads the way in the AFC Bournemouth fan league, currently sitting on 2,336 points after an impressive gameweek score of 137.

Matt Ryan in goal finished on 12 after keeping a clean sheet against Wolves and making four saves against Tottenham, resulting in an extra point.

The defence performed well too, Trent Alexander-Arnold finishing on 11 and Mat Doherty scoring 13 after his goal against Arsenal last night.

Further forward, Gerard Deulofeu made the most of Watford’s double gameweek with two goals, while Diogo Jota’s strike for Wolves saw him hit double figures.

Up front, Sergio Aguero was a wise choice as captain, finishing with a score of 14, but it was Robert’s decision to use his bench boost that really benefitted him.

30 points from Ben Foster, Heung-Min Son, Andre Gray and Christian Eriksen from the bench capped off a fine week.

However, just four points behind Robert sits Adam Banaszczyk from Poland, who scored 129 across double gameweek 35.

Again, bench boost was played, while the likes of Ryan, Doherty, Eriksen and Deulofeu were all popular choices in Adam’s side.

Yet, the standout performer came from an unlikely source. Aymeric Laporte finished on 15 points after two clean sheets across his two games against Spurs and United.

Additionally, he picked up three bonus points for his fine performance against Manchester United.

Double gameweek dilemmas

Eight teams had a double gameweek in the latest round of Fantasy Premier League, creating all sorts of dilemmas for managers up and down the country.

Additionally, Manchester City, whose players prove popular across the board, faced two tough tests in both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, meaning some users opted to reshuffle.

Bench boost

Both first and second place in the AFC Bournemouth fan league opted to use bench boost across double gameweek 35 and both finished with a three-figure score.

The chip, one of three which users get in a season, proved popular with the high-scoring players last week, with time now running out and just three matchdays to go.
