AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth’s home game is with Southampton on Saturday and for those who have never been to Vitality Stadium before or who join us for every home game, here’s a handy list of what’s happening up to kick-off on the day.

We’ll be helping to celebrate Black History Month and the club’s new sticker book is launching as well as plenty going on ahead of the game.

The club also have two special guests on Saturday, a welcome back to Ted MacDougall and Neil Young - Young is at a game for the first time in ten years!

9am TICKET OFFICE OPEN

Supporters can collect their tickets for the Southampton game from 9am at one of the collection windows.

Tickets are also on sale for Arsenal at home (22+ league home points) and Newcastle United away (7+ away points).

The ticket office stays open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

9am SUPERSTORE OPEN

With the weather getting colder outside, the club Superstore has plenty of new autumn training wear including everything from jumpers, coats and all the other winter essentials.

To celebrate the launch of our new Christmas range there will be a free mince pie in store for supporters until 1.30pm while stocks last.

The superstore will also remain open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

9am CAR PARK OPEN

The South Stand car park, behind the stadium, costs just £1 to park; it does fill up roughly 75 minutes to kick-off, so arrive early and it may take up to 45 minutes to clear.

For free parking just a 10-minute walk from the ground, Harewood College is open from 12.30pm – here’s a link on google maps.

Alternative parking can be found at Sovereign Shopping Centre for £2 for four hours or £4 for 24 hours – show where it is/post code?

If you choose to park elsewhere, please respect local residents and relevant parking restrictions.

10am TED MACDOUGALL RETURNS

Club legend Ted MacDougall will be in the AFC Bournemouth Superstore on Saturday to sign copies of his book, MacDou-goal.

Cherries fans can meet the former striker between 10.30am and 11.30am – come along and meet one of the club’s truly iconic players!

12pm 1910 BAR OPEN

This is located next to the media entrance in the Vitality Main Stand and is for home supporters only.

This bar is a great place to meet prior to the game but it does get busy, so bear this in mind before arriving.

Hot food and drinks are available.

12pm GREAT ESCAPE BAR OPEN

The Great Escape is a good alternative outdoors and is located outside of the Superstore.

Hot food and drinks are also available and just present your match ticket to get entry.

12pm NORTH STAND KIOSK

Available prior to turnstiles opening for a wide range of hot food and soft/hot drinks – try our home made pies – they’re very tasty.

12.30pm DC LOUNGE OPEN
This is open to both home and visiting disabled supporters pre-match and is based on the ground floor and first floor of the Vitality East Stand.

There is a pre-match quiz as well as the early kick off, Chelsea vs Manchester United being aired.

1.30pm TURNSTILES OPEN

Supporters can take their seats from 1.30pm, please bear in mind that for supporters’ own safety, there will be 100% searches of every single supporter as well as bag searching/tagging. Please don’t bring a bag unless you absolutely need to and ensure you arrive at least 45 minutes prior to kick-off to avoid delays.

The new Bournemouth Foodbank point will be present at every matchday until the end of the season and is located just outside the Superstore entrance for donations of non-perishable foods.

Get inside the ground early to make the most of the pre-match combo, which is a pie/burger and a pint for £5. You can have a soft drink instead for £4 for the bundle, both available up to half an hour before kick-off.

The Junior Cherries meal deal is also available throughout - it’s great value at just £2.50 when you present your JC membership card.

2pm PRE-MATCH ENTERTAINMENT

Get into your seat early and be in the running for a signed Nathan Ake shirt, if you get in prior to 2pm – all you have to do is enter the ground 45 minutes prior to kick-off and you’re automatically entered into the prize draw.

The club are welcoming a group from Dorset Ethnic Minority Awards in line with our Black History Month theme.

Ryan Fraser will also be collecting his Michael Matthews Jewellers’ Player of the Month award for September, his second of the season so far.
