The Cherries had 10 players in action last night, as a full set of EFL and National League fixtures were played out.

But how did they get on at their respective clubs?

Sam Surridge

Cherries youngster Sam Sturridge scored his first Football League goal as Yeovil Town played out a 2-2 draw with Morecambe.

The forward, who played all 90 minutes for the Glovers, pounced on Jake Gray’s cross from the right-hand side, finishing superbly at the far post.

Matt Worthington

Matt Worthington also featured for Yeovil, after coming off the bench 82 minutes into their draw with Morecambe.

Baily Cargill

Baily Cargill also played 90 minutes for Fleetwood, as they overcame Bury 3-2 at Highbury Stadium. This was the defender’s first full match in League One for Uwe Rosler’s side, as they next travel to Portsmouth on Saturday.

Mihai Dobre

On the opposite side of the pitch to Cargill, Mihai Dobre lined up for Bury. The midfielder started and played 63 minutes of the 3-2 loss.

Lewis Grabban

Lewis Grabban started for the Black Cats as they hosted Nottingham Forest. However, the striker’s evening was cut short on 37 minutes, after picking up an injury.

Ryan Allsop

Ryan Allsop retained his place in Blackpool’s starting line-up, as the Tangerines won 3-1 against 10-man Plymouth at Home Park.

Ben Whitfield

Ben Whitfield played 90 minutes for Port Vale as they lost 2-0 at Kenilworth Road to League Two high-flyers Luton Town.

Sam Matthews

Sam Matthews impressed for Eastleigh with some positive runs and shots, but he couldn’t help his side to victory as they lost 1-0 to Maidstone at Silverlake.

Mark Travers

Cherries keeper Mark Travers played 90 minutes between the sticks for Mark Molesley’s Weymouth, who lost 2-1 to Tiverton Town.

Callum Stanton

Another Cherries keeper, Callum Stanton, was also in action, as his Guernsey side lost 2-0 Whyteleafe.

Elsewhere

Jordan Lee and Joe Quigley didn’t feature for their respective sides.
