Well the second-half wasn't as frantic as the first, but we take a point in a 3-3 draw.
We had the better of the chances, but it's all level at the end at Vitality Stadium.
Seeing in the new year with a crazy 3-3 draw is probably us all over!
90'
THREE MINUTES ADDED ON!
COME ON!

We're on top in these closing moments...
86'
A big final five minutes!!
83'
Save by Foster!
He's been superb.
King gets the ball off Mousset who is instantly involved - King drives towards goal, gets in the area and creates a great angle for a low effort.
He sidefoots a left footer, but Foster gets his body in front of it!
Unlucky!
80'
Double sub for us...
Both Wilson and Fraser have worked tirelessly in this game, they look knackered.
So Lys Mousset and Jordon Ibe come on to replace them - hopefully they can make an impact and provide some energy, not just in attack but defending from the front.
78'
An unbelievable tackle!
That has to be right there!
Watford counter us and Deeney flicks it through for Pereyra who looks set to score!
Out of nowhere, Steve Cook makes a simply sublime slide tackle to get the ball cleanly!
If he gets that wrong, he's off and Watford have a penalty. Superb!!
75'
Save by Foster!
Another good period of pressure!
Stanislas drills a lovely half volley which is blocked, before the rebound reaches Gosling on the edge!

65'
Battling hard against a physical side...
64'
WHAT A SAVE!
Ben Foster another superb reaction save to deny Wilson!
Another set play from us causes havoc, Fraser's brilliant delivery is met by Wilson and the stopper gets a hand out to palm it away!
Close, our first real chance of the second half!
59'
Gosling is booked...
It's an old fashioned tackle it's fair to say.
Gosling steams into Cleverley, but he got the ball.
In the modern game, it's probably a yellow.
55'
Doucoure is subbed...
He's very very lucky to still be on, so Javi Gracia sensibly withdraws the Frenchman.
Tom Cleverley comes on in his place.
54'
Another foul by Doucoure...
His challenge was a worthy of a red card in the first-half, he's thrown the ball away, and now he's chopped down Brooks!
He's not booked, but surely the Frenchman is walking a tight rope!!
51'
Unlucky!
After a really late foul on Brooks on the right, we get into the area where Wilson swivels and has an effort well blocked.
We've started the half on top with plenty of possession - the crowd are right behind the team here!
46'
Back again!
Well, for our sake lets hope the game calms down and there's a winner in it for us!
We'll attack the Steve Fletcher Vitality Main Stand this half, come on lads!

What a game, stick with us we'll be back in 15 minutes, come on lads!
40'
TWO GREAT CHANCES!
Both for us!
The first, King's brilliant lay off gets Brooks in behind the Watford defence!
He's on his right foot, he tries to cross it but it's JUST cleared!
Then, we get in behind AGAIN with Stanislas who swings in a perfect cross for King! Hisd header from eight-yard touches the post as it goes out, SO SO CLOSE!
Wow, I really can't keep up guys! Madness!

It's an unbelievable save, but Ake is there to nod in the rebound!
Get in, back in it!!
33'
GOALLLLLLLLLL!
FROM THE RESULTING FREE-KICK NATHAN AKE SCORES!!
33'
Deeney booked...
That's two yellow cards in one that one!
First he pulls Fraser's shirt after the Scot beat him, then he kicks him to the floor to make sure.
Definite yellow for their skipper.
32'
Nearly 3-0...
That is so close for Watford.
Deeney wins a header which sets Doucoure on his way, he cuts inside onto his right and curls an effort narrowly over.
It's a good strike to be fair, still 2-0.
29'
A yellow card...
First of the evening.
Doucoure picks up a yellow for a robust tackle on Fraser, it's hig hand it's a naughty one as well.
He does get in the wars does Wee Man. Poor, poor foul, a deserved yellow.
28'
A goal of our own making...
We give the ball away really sloppily and Gerard Deulofeu drives one-on-one at Nathan Ake.
His pace causes all kind of problems, Steve Cook makes a great tackle but the ball bounces kindly for Deeney in the area to sidefoot in.
A poor one, we're 2-0 down here.
26'
GOAL for Watford.
Deeney scores again.
21'
Great chance!!
Wee Man!
Some good play by Brooks and Stanislas on the right - in possession they look a threat - sees Stanislas drill in a low ball.
Callum Wilson touches it on to Fraser in plenty of room at the back post but his low drive is straight at Foster!
It looked like he sort of scuffed it, a fantastic chance!
18'
Decent chance for the visitors...
The goal has really settled them down and they're on top now.
A counter from Sema, who looks lively on the right, as he steams past Daniels and puts the ball in a dangerous area.
It's well cleared, but Pereyra gets to it 25-yards out in space but blazes over.
It's well over, but another menacing attack from the Hornets.
14'
Their first real attack...
A combination between Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ken Sema sees the latter put in a high cross.
Deeney pulls away from his marker to nod unchallenged into the bottom corner.
We don't do it the easy way - 1-0 to the visitors.
14'
GOAL for Watford.
Troy Deeney scores.
11'
Chance!
We play it out really well to Fraser out wide, who goes one on one with Kiko Femenia on the left.
He drives past him and dinks in a cross which is well cleared - the rebound fell to Lerma 25-yards out invitingly - he smashed it in space but it flew well over.
He had plenty of room there the Colombian - but over it goes.
10'
A solid opening ten...
There's been no chances for the visitors and we went close with that earlier Brooks strike.
Stanislas looks composed at right-back, his distribution from deep has been excellent so far.
Jefferson Lerma, rested at Old Trafford, is seeing plenty of possession early on to get us going.
Not a bad start to the game!
03'
CLOSE FROM BROOKS!!
A sweeping move!
We're on top in the early goings, and David Brooks goes close!!
We counter well as Junior Stanislas, playing as an out-and-out right back, feeds the ball to Joshua King. He cleverly flicks it to Brooks in the box, onto his left foot and he curls NARROWLY over.
Great stuff, a good start here under the lights!
01'

Head to head...
Well it's not the best at home!
We've never beaten Watford in a home Premier League match - but as our last post shows, we did triumph 4-0 at their place earlier this season.
That was our biggest ever top flight away win!
Five of the seven previous Premier League meetings have been drawn, with one win each.
Hopefully a first home win in the top flight is on the cards today!
19:22
The last time we played Watford - class!
19:13
One to watch...
We usually point out the attacking riches of clubs in our one to watch.
But this week, we're highlighting a defender who has been an attacking threat this season.
Fiery defender Jose Holebas has been amongst the goals for the Hornets this campaign - he's been directly involved in more Premier League goals this season than any other defender, scoring three and setting up five.
Not bad numbers, we'll have to be solid at set plays!
Kick off has been delayed by 15 minutes. This is due to a suspected fire in the Vitality East Stand. All looks OK though, no one involved or nothing major.
18:28
Team news...
Will be announced in half an hour.
Nathan Ake is a doubt after coming off in our defeat to Man United with a hamstring injury.
All the long-term injuries are still out, Simon Francis, Adam Smith, Dan Gosling and Lewis Cook.
As mentioned before, Watford made six changes for the draw with Newcastle, will again rotate his squad.
Captain Troy Deeney is expected to play for them.
17:54
How do Watford look heading into this one?
Well, they have lost just one of their last five Premier League games, but have only won two of their last ten - so depending on how you spin it it can look good or bad!
They have only been beaten in one of their past four away fixtures.
The Hornets squad should be quite fresh too, as Javi Gracia rested six of his first team squad in the weekend's draw with Newcastle.
So a mixed bag for the visitors tonight!
17:32
Let's support him!
If you haven't seen the interview this morning, the manager told us that Charlie Daniels has been going through a tough time at home, with his dad suffering from cancer.
Charlie's dad has not been well, but the full-back's professionalism has never been drawn into question.
We're sure Vitality Stadium will give him a great reception and get right behind him this evening!
17:22
Welcome...
A big game tonight!
It's always a big one when we play Watford, tonight is no different.
We're all set here at Vitality Stadium for the 7.45pm kick-off, we'll give you all the updates on this live blog and of course, FREE audio commentary.
So join us and don't miss a beat from the club this evening.
