Thank-you for tuning in for the coverage of tonight's game. That's four wins and one draw from an unbeaten run in October!
'FT
We've done it!
Well it won't go down as one of Bournemouth's most famous wins, and had Norwich been more clinical we could be looking at a different story.
Nevertheless, we're into the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup for the second consecutive season! Get in!
'90
What a chance for Norwich
Jordon Rhodes misses from point blank with a header that looked easier to score! The Cherries are riding their luck at the end of the half here.

Norwich not far away

'89
Almost there!
It's been far from our best performance, but we've just got a few more minutes to hang on and head into the next round!
'87
Norwich sub
Felix Passlack is replaced by Jordan Rhodes.
'86
Another change for the Cherries
Jack Simpson replaces Simon Francis in the game's dying embers.
'82
He enjoyed that one!
'82
Another Norwich sub
Norwich make their second change of the game as Teemu Pukki comes on in place of Tom Trybull.
'79
Nice corner routine
Diego Rico delivers a long ball to Junior Stanislas from the corner spot. The latter collects it but sees his shot go well over the goal. Would have looked great if it worked!

'72
Instant response from the Cherries!
A corner finds its way to Marc Pugh, he loses it and the danger is cleared momentarily, but Steve Cook is on hand to smash a shot into the bottom left corner. We're 2-1 up!
'72

'68
Norwich sub
Norwich make their first change of the match, Emi Buendia coming on to replace Ivo Pinto.
'67
Boruc saves at the near post
A decent chance there for Norwich, Onel Hernandez finding space in the box to force a shot low to Boruc's bottom left corner, but the big Pole does well to deny an equaliser.
'65
Comfortable for Boruc
Mario Vrancic's shot is deflected but caught comfortably by Boruc. Still just the one Junior Stanislas goal to separate the two sides.
'61
First Bournemouth sub
It's the first substitution of the game as Ryan Fraser replaces Jordon Ibe just past the hour mark. Come on Wee-man!

Nonny watch

'51
If you've just joined us
We're back underway in the second half looking to build on the 1-0 lead we took into the break courtesy of Junior Stanislas' powerful strike.
A win would send us through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, but it's not going to be plain sailing!
'50
Free-kick hits the wall
Junior Stanislas stands over a free-kick but can't get enough height on it to beat the wall.
'HT
We lead going into the break!
A nervy end to what was a fairly quiet half there. Bournemouth will be pleased to take the lead into the break, as it looked like a Norwich goal was certainly coming!
'45
By the skin of our teeth!
Bournemouth are lucky to get away with that! Onel Hernandez played in Srbeny who crashed a shot onto the post and across the face of goal!
'43
Close from Vrancic!
Mario Vrancic twists and turns inside Bournemouth's box and hits a shot just wide of the post. He's adamant it should be a corner but the referee awards a goal-kick.
'42
Good save Boruc!
Dennis Srbeny almost equalises as Norwich break. The forward is through on goal but Boruc makes himself look big and saves with his chest to deny the Canaries.
'40
A bit more lively now...
The game needed that to get the fans up off their feet! Not a bad time to score just minutes before half-time.
'39
Stanislas breaks the deadlock for 1-0!
Jermain Defoe chests it down and laces a through ball to Junior Stanislas. He cuts inside and leathers one into the roof of the net! Come on!!!
'39
GOAL!!!!!
WHAT A HIT STANISLAS!
32'
Trying to break the deadlock...
'32
Nearly a chance for Cherries
Pugh plays a one-two with Ibe before drilling a ball across goal, but it hits Stanislas and goes out for a goal-kick.
'28
A quiet first half
Neither side has managed a shot on target so far. We need to lift the tempo in search of that opening goal!
'19
REEEED ARRRMYY!

Almost for Defoe!
Bournemouth's first chance of the game falls to Jermain Defoe, whose first time strike from Marc Pugh's lay-off is powerful but curls inches wide. Not far away!

Here we go!
Norwich get the game going with the Cherries attacking the Ted MacDougall Colmar Construction South Stand!
19:45
The teams are out on the pitch!
Kick-off is moments away in this round of 16 tie in the Carabao Cup against Norwich City!
A win tonight would take us through to the quarter-finals, so all to play for.
Come on Cherries!
19:33
REST IN PEACE
We'll be observing a minute's silence ahead of kick-off to remember the five people who tragically passed away in Saturday's helicopter crash at King Power Stadium.
Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was one of the five who died, and we will be paying tribute to all of them prior to the game.
19:04
Too much Fortnite...
The boys are getting ready for the game! Perhaps the less said about Steve Fletcher's flossing the better, although I suppose it's one way to keep warm!
19:01
One to watch...
Canaries left-back Jamal Lewis recently scooped up the EFL Young Player of the Month award for September, so he's certainly worth keeping an eye on!
That came after the 20-year-old rose through the ranks at City's academy, scored against Chelsea, made his international debut for Northern Ireland, and signed a five-year deal for Norwich.
He even represented England in cross country running, so athleticism is certainly one of his top attributes.
18:53
Wrap up warm!
Make sure you wrap up warm tonight!
It's going to be a chilly one at Vitality Stadium, with temperatures expected to drop as low as two degrees during the game.
Nothing a warm Bovril from the concourse can't fix!
Cherries winger Marc Pugh has given his thoughts ahead of tonight's game in MATCHDAY, our programme, which is available around the ground for £2!
Commenting on his involvement in the team this season, Pugh said: "I've been out of the team this season, but I've learned an awful lot and I don't want to take playing for granted anymore.
"When you're on the field, you want to leave everything out there."
Pick up a copy of the programme to read the full interview!
18:08
But our form isn't bad either!
Since beating Blackburn Rovers in the previous round of the Carabao Cup at the end of last month, in October we've earned three wins and one draw in the league!
Those results have kept us in sixth place in the Premier League with 20 points after ten games.
Fingers crossed we can give you a happy Halloween with an unbeaten October tonight!
18:01
How are Norwich getting on?
The Canaries are on fine form ahead of tonight's game, with seven wins out of their last nine Championship matches.
27 points from their opening 15 league games sees them in fourth place just two points behind league leaders Sheffield United.
On their road to this round of the cup, Norwich have beaten Stevenage, Cardiff City, and Wycombe Wanderers.
17:50
The stats bode well...
The Cherries have only ever reached the quarter-finals of this competition on two occasions, but both were in the last five seasons, first in 2014-15 and secondly in 2017-18!
We've also won ten of our last eleven League Cup games against non-Premier League opposition.
Let's hope we make that eleven out of twelve tonight!
17:28
VAR IN USE TONIGHT
Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology will be in use at the Vitality Stadium for tonight's game.
The equipment has already been tested at the ground during our Premier League game with Leicester City in September, but tonight is the first time the officials will be able to use it to make decisions during the match.
17:17
TEAM NEWS...
Joshua King definitely won't feature in tonight's game through injury, Eddie Howe confirmed in his press conference on Monday morning.
Everyone else is in contention to make the squad, and Howe insisted that there will be changes to the team that beat Fulham on Saturday.
The boss remained tight-lipped on how many changes there will be, but you can find out when the team news is revealed here on the live blog at 6.45pm.
"I believe in every single one of the players and in an ideal world the ones who are picked will go out, perform and we make it through the next round," Howe added.
17:00
