Burnley were dogged and compact and despite Joshua King's late goal, we were defeated here at Vitality Stadium.
The next one is a big one... Southampton.
Thank you for following our updates, we'll see on Sunday!
90: Injury time...
FIVE minutes added on...
Come on lads!! Burnley are pinned in their own half but seeing out the game well.
They have one man up top with ten behind the ball, five minutes to get a chance.
85: Five to play...
We're on top, Burnley are sitting very deep here, keeping it compact.
They've just made a change, Ashley Barnes is on for Jeff Hendrick.
GOALLL!
YES!
Wilson, Defoe and King all play a part as Kingy scores!
Wilson chested it to Defoe in on goal and he forces Pope into a save, but King is on hand to get a crucial touch at the back post to nick it over the line!
GAME ON!
68: Our final change...
Weeman is coming on for Ibe.
AT a first look, it looks like we're playing 3-4-3, Francis, Cook and Ake as centre backs, Weeman and Daniels wing backs, a front three of King, Wilson, Defoe.
2-0 Burnley.
That is a wonder strike from Robbie Brady.
In the D on the edge, he shifts it cleverly onto his right foot and hits a great strike into the top corner.
We're 2-0 down and have a big task ahead.
63: Swap of wings...
Ibe is now on the left taking on Phil Bardsley, Kingy on the right against Stephen Ward.
62: Second sub for us...
It's JD time - he's back!
He replaces Pughie, so it looks like Kingy wide left and Callum and JD in the middle.
59: Chance!
A high corner from Ibe meets Francis at the back post, but he nods over!
A decent opening, very good delivery from Ibe!
57: First sub for us...
Harry Arter makes way for Lewis Cook.
A big cheer from the crowd, hopefully Cook can make impact.
55: A flat start to the half...
We've got plenty of the ball, but no clear cut chances created.
Burnley are very well drilled and are sticking to their defensive gameplan.
45: We're back underway....
Come on lads!
No changes at the break, lets see if we can break down this Burnley side!
HALF TIME
Well, it's not great.
Credit to Burnley, they've been well drilled and organised as you'd expect.
They've been the better team, but let's hope for a positive second half!
44: Block!
We counter in numbers and it reaches Ibe.
He cuts onto his right and has a high effort blocked. Better from us to end the half.
One minute will round off the half...
Can we get a way back into the game before the break?
37: GOAL for Burnley.
A soft one.
Brady's cross from the right is deflected by Cook and falls kindly into Wood at the back post who taps in with ease.
1-0 down.
27: A big chance...
But a big block from Cook.
Chris Wood raced in behind the defence and got into the area, and he crossed to Gudmundsson who had plenty of room at the back post, but Cook chucked himself at it to make a big block and keep it 0-0.
Top defending.
20: Openings...
Franno swings in a cross from the right and Wilson beats his man to nod it over.
Seconds later, Wilson is involved again, he gets it in the area, instead of volleying towards goal though he tries to cross for Pughie at the back stick. Might've been better to shoot but two positive openings!
Go on Cal!
11: Save!
A Bardsley cross from deep is excellent, it's right on Wood's head in the middle, but his downward nod, which bounces off the turf high, is well saved by Begovic.
Burnley on top.
09: Better!
Kingy starts us on the break with a great drive from deep.
Ibe picks it up on the right, swings a low cross into the Norwegian's path but Pope is alert to smother it.
Good stuff!
03: A succession of corners for the visitors...
We're on the back foot, we've defended them quite well, but the last one...
Mee headed at the back post and Wood met it with a looping header but it hit the top of the bar.
Not the best start so far but it's very early doors.
01: We're underway...
Kingy gets us underway on a bitterly cold night at Vitality Stadium.
A few goals would warm up the atmosphere!
Go on lads!
We're close to kick off...
The floodlights are flashing...
The players are in the tunnel...
Let's do this!
40 today...
The manager is 40 today, but what did he say to journalists who asked him about it!?
"It is a big one, turning 40, so I'm not looking forward to that to be honest !I haven't been able to give it a minute's thought.
"I have not been called a spring chicken for a while, but I suppose in management terms I am still quite young. Hopefully I have many more games left in me."

🔴⚫ "We've got a very good squad and it was tough to leave Adam out but we felt we need Simon's experience tonight. We know what to expect from Burnley and they will be a tough team to beat."#afcb 🍒 pic.twitter.com/WK0pQsaaZ6

Burnley's team...
Love this...
The head to head stats...
Well, the omens are mixed!
Burnley have won just two of their 11 league games away to us, and they were ages ago - in 1995 and 2000!
But the visitors' only defeat in their last eight competitive fixtures against us came last season when Kingy scored a late winner.
One to watch...
It is of course, our old boy Sam Vokes.
He's bagged five goals in his last seven Premier League away appearances.
The last time he played in a league away game, he scored a winner on the south coast, against Southampton.
A landmark for H!
So it's one change...
Franno is back in at right back, replacing Adam Smith.
The skipper was on commentary duty for afcbTV at the weekend against Swansea while he was suspended.
Cherries XI: Begovic; Francis (C), S Cook, Ake, Daniels; Ibe, Arter, Surman, Pugh; King, Wilson.
Team news is in!
A fourth clean sheet in a row?
Well, we're in good form.
The Cherries have taken 10 points from the last five matches, winning three and losing just one.
We could keep four successive league clean sheets for the first time since March 2014, back in the Championship!
Three points for Eddie!?
Under the lights....
Premier League football is always special under the lights!
